To adapt to the deep ice caves of the Anker region, SWOOBAT has taken on a larger and more robust form than the other SWOOBAT of Unys.

By adapting to the deep caverns, SWOOBAT's tail and claws have become stronger and have taken the form of a drill, which allows it to dig holes in the rock, to rest.

Anker Regional Form - Woobat and Swoobat shiny

Among the fifth generation Pokémon, 527 and 528 were among my favorite Pokémon. That's why I wanted to create a "regional form" for them. Originally, I planned to create a final evolution for SWOOBAT, but the regional form seemed to me to be a better idea.

The idea of the shape of WOOBAT and SWOOBAT is inspired by the Greater Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum) and the idea of modifying their type in ROCK and FLYING to imagine a specific adaptation to the caves.

To speak technical: these Pokémon are found in both versions, but only in night session (Night).
